Mouse Right Button is not working on KDE in openSUSE 11.3

Dear All:

I am using openSUSE 11.3 in Compaq presario v3000. Its working fine. One morning I found that, my home folder is deleted from the desktop and my mouse right-button is not working on desktop. What can I do? Anybody have any suggestion?

Thanks and Regards

If your folder /home
Has been deleted, that is a problem

Try and see if you can use Yast to create a new user account and login with that.

No, my /home folder is not deleted. I can access everything from the panel (folder view) or even using dolphin. Actually I meant that, the folder view on the desktop is deleted. As my mouse right-button is not working on the desktop, I can not create the widget on my desktop.

Can you right click the panel? Unlock widgets
Do you have a Cashew at top left? Normal left click Unlock widgets and > activities ?
Set a new activity

I can right click on the pannel and add/delete widget and pannel. I have added a pannel and there is Cashew at the top left. But next what I have to do, I didnt understant.

Top left Cashew > activities >
Should open a section lower down
There should be activities in there (Probably unnamed) If more than one is there, try clicking on some of them.
See if any of them bring back a desktop that works, if not try adding a new ‘Folder View’ or ‘Plain Desktop’

Just letting you know I’ve moved this topic here from the German forum.
