Mouse not working on Open SuSe 11.1

Hey guys, my mouse is not working on Open SuSe 11.1.
When I got 11.0, I connected it and at first, it wouldn’t work till I restarted it. But on 11.1, even after restart. Any help?

There are mice and there are mice. White mice, brown mice! All kinds of mice?

Any help? If not, how can I enable VNC through the terminal?
I could probably Veency in and control the mouse, but how do I enable it?

Re-boot
At the default boot, pause it, then clear all boot arguments and just type the number:
3

login as user and then go su, and type:
yast

You will get the basic, keyboard navigated yast
you can configure hardware from there.

Though, I have to say, I never have to configure mice, but then I just use a standard usb wheel mouse.

Since I can’t do this, it just struck me I can veency in and use my computer from somewhere else. How can I enable VNC with a passwd from YaST or Terminal/Konsole?

Sorry, I don’t use VNC
I did find this but can’t vouch for it’s content
VNC HOWTO - openSUSE

Ok, I think I fixed. I reinstalled SuSe, but this time with GNOME instead of KDE 4, but it first wouldn’t work. It’s a logitech USB mouse, and SuSe sensed that my mouse was my keyboard so the real mouse was not detected until I changed it to USB Mouse.
