Mouse Help

Hello there. I just recently installed openSUSE 12.1 ( I migrated from Windows - Ubuntu - openSUSE ) and now my wireless mouse won’t work. The mouse is a Logitech M305. It connects with a USB port. The mouse is not broken because it works on the windows side of my computer. Please help.

i would expect the mouse to “just work”, so try these:

-put fresh batteries in the mouse…

-look on the under- or top-side of both the mouse and the wireless
receiver (which plugs into the USB port) and find/press the
set/reset/connect (or whatever they call it) button…

-unplug the mouse and plug it in a different USB port…

you might find other bread crumbs here, but be sure to try the easy
fixes above before jumping into big software changes:
