I just installed openSuse 11.4 on my tablet pc HP Pavillion tx 2000 and then I installed Nvidia driver by Yast, adding before the official repository NVidia.
Sometimes, it happens that I can move the cursor mouse, but when I click nothing happens, while the keyboard works properly. After more some seconds mouse works again.
I have the same on my HP 8530W laptop. But my mouse was freezing also before nvidia proprietary drivers has been installed. With default drivers mouse freezed during big screen updates (eg. scrolling page in Firefox). Now, freezes seem random…
After change of text/graphic mode eg. CTRL-ALT-F1 and then CTRL-ALT-F7 mouse always works…
Anyone could help?
I observed that it is like if the OS cannot manage correctly the windows. Infact if it is “freezed” when there is only one window on the desktop, I have the impression that OS don’t “see” the window.
Otherwise, when there are more windows, while I move the mouse, its icon changes, for example on a text field or a link, also if text field is covered by another window.
PS: excuse me for my very bad english.
