The mouse configuration has been removed from yast in 11.2. Is there a new place where this functionality has been moved? Or is do I need to get another program, like those described in Logitech MX1100 mouse extra buttons only works in Firefox - openSUSE Forums
In particular, I want to set one of my extra buttons to emulate the scroll wheel. I was able to do this in the old version of yast.
I have the same problem here. Why would they remove such a useful part of the configuration? I have no clue. How do I enable mouse wheel emulation now?
Just looks like M$ policies applied to Open Source. You first de-prove a product to make people complain, then in the next version you can hope they improve it again…

My reading of this indicates that the functionality was indeed removed from sax2. Apparently this functionality should be recreatable by either gnome or kde4. For kde4, at least, it doesn’t exist yet.
