Mounting USB flash drive with NTFS

Hi there,

I’ve noticed the problem with mounting usb flash drive formatted with NTFS on 11.1. When I’m trying to insert flash I seeing it in /media during half of second then it disappears. Manual mounting also doesn’t work.

Is it missing feature of suse or a bug? If second does anybody know what I can to do with it?

Thanks in advance.

Open a console (su to root), and do

lshal -m

Then plug in your usb device and have a look at output.

You can also have a look at the current mounts with

mount

If you have access to another memory stick, try seeing how it behaves.

It seems that it works fine.

Many thanks to you.

Dear friends!
Suse have no visible actions after flash drive plugged in

This is output

linux-0nrv:~ # lshal -m

Start monitoring devicelist:

Then i did mount

linux-0nrv:~ # mount -t ext3 /dev/sda2 /media/imoflash (/imoflash dir created by me as mounting point, according google search/)
mount: /dev/sda2 already mounted or /media/imoflash busy
mount: according to mtab, /dev/sda2 is already mounted on /media/imoflash

So, now /media/imoflash dir contains my usb data?
Or? Plese help, because after i’m did
linux-0nrv:~ # dir /media/imoflash
