Mounting Data Drive for Sharing

Hi, I’ve just finished installing a 13.1 OpenSUSE.I have a data drive and a normal drive which is where the OS is installed. Now what I wanna do is have the data drive and Only the data drive shared to my network running windows 7. without any password protection since most of my software will be accessing that drive. but i don’t know how i have tried searching but i can’t seem to find my luck. so if any of you guys can help me out i’d be really glad. thanks!

You need Samba
It’s fiddly though
I ended up using the facility on my router to connect a USB drive to my network. Much easier if you have it.

There is a samba guide in the forum blog section

Actually I managed to set up samba and make it show on netwrk the way I want it from name to which folder. right now all i need is to make it able for network computers to edit files inside it.
