I’m a newbie to using OpenSuse 11 - Linux generally in fact - and cannot get the CD/DVD player to mount. I have an ASUS A3AC laptop. I’ve found out how to get the inboard sound working but this one have me stumped. Looked all over the shop and tried using the manual that doesn’t react to key words.
Any ideas please folks.
At the risk of offering too simple advice, the CD/DVD should auto mount when physically placed in your CD/DVD player. Without a CD/DVD in the player, you will not be able to mount.
Simply put the CD/DVD in, and look for a popup dialog box. If you get no popup, then check to see if it was mounted but the popup did not appear. It should be auto-mounted under /media.
