Can anyone help me how to connect to mtp? I made a backup with adb and I want to restore via
“adb restore backupname.ab”

but I cannot connect to my android smartphone

Thanks in advance!

https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/MTP

is quite good. I installed simple-mtpfs and mtpfs via Yast, but I am not able to connect successfully …

marcel@linux-ehkd:~> mtp-detect
If 'mtp-detect' is not a typo you can use command-not-found to lookup the package that contains it, like this:
    cnf mtp-detect
marcel@linux-ehkd:~> mtp-detect
Unable to open ~/.mtpz-data for reading, MTPZ disabled.libmtp version: 1.1.6
