mount a linux webdav folder from Windows

Has anyone mounted a linux webdav folder from Windows? I’m testing this inside my LAN.

I know the URL is correct because it works from the Mac OS. I enter

https://192.168.1.10/webdav
in Finder / Go… / Connect to Server…

But the same URL doesn’t work in XP or Vista when I try to “Map Network Drive” or use a client software like AnyClient (AnyClient - The Free No-Install FTP, FTPS, SFTP and WebDAV Client).

Windows firewall is disabled. I can view the webdav folder in Internet Explorer. I can ping the server’s IP. I have garnered some information (where there are other useful links to information at Microsoft) for anyone who is interested in pursuing this.

WebDAV Mini-Redirector (MRXDAV.SYS) Versions and Issues List

But ideally someone has already done it and can share how.

In principle I could not say anything usefull about this because I know almost nothing about Windowws. But I know my ISP offers diskspace via webdisk. I consulted their website because I sopposed they would not do this for Mac and Linux alone.

And yes. They do offer a special program for it to be used on Windows. They even have a page about it in english: XS4ALL | Experimental | Webdisk
Look for the Download under **How. **Hope this is of some use.

Thanks, Henk.
It sounds promising.
