Wow, I like the contestants so far!
I have two desktops to contribute. I use both Gnome and KDE (best of both worlds) so I’m posting shots of both. Here’s the Gnome half. Enjoy!
Background is a picture from a recent trip to Vermont/New Hampshire with the family. We like going to Bath NH where there is an old General Store (the oldest?) which has homemade fudge (free samples! whee!) and numerous smoked cheese, bacon and more! Next to it is a covered bridge and this is the sign that resonates from years ago!
I have to clean up my files some. You’ll notice folders for Copy, Dropbox and OneDrive (I deleted the Google Drive one) from previous setups to synchronize with my online files. I am looking forward to trying out Gnome 3.18 and Google Drive integration and since it seems like it is supposed to act like a mapped drive, rather than a synchronized folder, it may even work better than the usual methods. If I got, without having to pay for it, a TB (or at least >250GB) with Dropbox I would drop the others from regular use!
I thought this would give a chance to view the different Vibrancy-Dark-Gree-Viva Icon theme. I haven’t done too much theme customization since Gnome 2 so this was a big step for me
The system works well. Shows its age some when pushed but otherwise handles everything like a champ. Windows 10 runs on this sucking down about 1.2+ GB of RAM.
**Congrats!! Please send me a PM with your name, address, zip code, telephone number and email, and I will send to SUSE and they will send to you the goodies!!
You don’t have win this month? But sure you have fun a lot, haven’t you? Don’t worry in October maybe you win the reward, just try it again, and show your best desktop!!
