Monitor out of range after fresh install

Hi everyone, i`ve made a fresh install of openSUSE, instalation went straight forward, however when i first booted, passed grub and then my screen went black and displayed “DSUB OUT OF RANGE 81.4kHz / 65Hz” and i hear the welcome sound, but cant get image.

Anyone have a solution or idea?
Searched the forum but didn`t find anything like it.

PD.: This is my first openSUSE install, its a fresh install on a 80Gb HDD with 2Gb for SWAP and the rest for openSUSE 11.1, i`ve used ubuntu and debian, but wanted to give openSUSE a run.

The Screen is a LG Flatron W2353V, connected through vga, and my video card is a nVidia GTX260

Solved
Ok, solved the problem by entering fail safe mode, then changing the properties of the screen.
I think this problem should be solved because it`s really anoying to install a new OS and cant use it, i dont think a home user can solve the problem so easy.

Did you test your video setting during the installation?

With a clean install, you may have more joy with 11.2RC1. Looks much more polished than 11.1

Graphics device problems and boot problems seem partially ironed out.
