Monitor off during boot time

Hello.

I have two graphic cards (an on-board and PCI- NVIDIA GeForce FX5200). In the past I had problems with SUSE finding the NVIDIA at installation, so when installing 11.0 I used the on-board card. Everything went well and I then switched to the NVIDIA, which works perfectly with 11.0, but during boot time my monitor stays off.

It is somehow spooky not to see anything while boottime, so would you please tell me how to fix the problem? Thank you in advance.

possibly add this to your menu.lst , in the boot line for your default boot
vga=0x31a

you need to be su to read and edit this file, make a copy too
