Ok, BIOS updated, can’t check with Leap or Windows for now. Will see results on next power surges.
What is DP? I do not have a monitor - only TV via HDMI.
DP=DisplayPort, which was originally designed for specific needs of computer usage, though with TV also in mind, and with no licensing fee required. HDMI was originally designed much longer ago, before internet was overwhelmed by video transmissions, for television, and devices providing HDMI must pay for licensing. DP outputs can be converted to use with HDMI inputs using an inexpensive converter, but not vice versa. Standard size DP connectors include a latching mechanism to prevent accidental removal, not available with any HDMI connectors.
Some TVs have a special configuration option in TV setup menu to use a specific one of its HDMI inputs for accepting computer output. On one of my Vizios, this is labeled HDMI/DVI. If you can find such an option, try it. I have or had 5 devices with 13 HDMI ports among them that are now dead, though the devices are otherwise still working. All my own computer displays acquired new in past 15 years have DP inputs, while not all provide HDMI inputs. I can’t recall ever encountering a dead DP port.
Try plugging TV into power source without full UPS protection, either directly to live power, or to a surge-only protector, or to surge-protection-only port on UPS. Does problem remain this way? Possibly your BX2200MI has become defective or worn out from your unstable power source? Is it out of warranty? Have you contacted APS support?
My TV have only HDMI inputs.
Like I said above - yes.
Yes, out of.
TV blinks again today, so nothing helped for now:
- change UPS sensitivity to LOW (may be only UPS cliсks not too often)
- update BIOS
- set
