Modem on OpenSuse 11.9 and Dell Vostro 1500 is not recognized

Greetings to everybody;

I have installed openSuse 11.3, my computer is a Dell Vostro 1500, it has a modem, but is not recognized between the devices. I do not know why. I have not the slightest.

Please, explain clearly and explicitly that the system can I identify and mount my modem, and can make use of it.

If by chance you need some additional information, please specify to me how I can get to the place in this thread.

Infinite thanks in advance.

How did you find out it “is not recognized between the devices”? By using Yast > Network devices > Modem ? Any other means? Did you use lspci and/or lsusb (I do not know how the deviceis connected, maybe you know)?

This phrase is not understandable.

Are you using an automatic translator? Don’t, get a human translator, or
use a forum in your language. If you can’t, post in your own language, and
hope that some one volunteers to translate.
