MNG Format player?

I need to view an mng (multiple image network graphics) video…I also need to extract the images from it if possible, but nothing seems to want to do it. I have libmng installed but that doesn’t seem to make a difference.

I’m in 12.1

So I found an (old) web site with some test mng links. I found that I could “run” them with Kaffeine, but they did not seem to work in Firefox and I am not sure how you would break one of these apart into its separate elements. The open source mng program does not appear to be supported by a current Web Browser. Here is the Link I found: libmng - THE MNG library (free software by Gerard Juyn) - MNG test-suite, Good Luck.

Thank You,

I downloaded the first image with wget, and I can display it with
“display”, more or less. The Gimp can not load it.
