I start this thread just to say publicly thanks to jdmcdaniel3 for his script mmcheck. It’s very useful, and very well explained. As his thread is closed, I needed to start a new one.

DaaX, please feel free to translate the mmcheck script as you require. Add your name at the top as a translator for instance. So I don’t know French, But I would just attack (translate) each line, one at a time, perhaps placing the original English above as a comment. I would post it in SuSE Past (as it will too large to put into a forum message) and ask for help in looking at the translation to make sure it make sense to anyone speaking French. I am certain we can then get help here to create a separate package for the French language. Keep in mind that I am not sure I can even claim to know English and so your help would be required to claim it is properly translated into French.
I would like to also say thank you for the kind works concerning mmcheck. This would not have been possible without the very fine folks here in the openSUSE forums. Everything mmcheck does, came from posts and ideas I found in these forums. I just attempted to collect them into a single place that made sense to me. That means that similar feats can be done by anyone here with a passion to fix a certain problem that is shared by us all.
