Missing libbluray (broken zypper?)

The problem, cant install xbmc:

Starbuck:/etc/X11 # zypper in xbmc
Loading repository data...
Reading installed packages...
Resolving package dependencies...

Problem: nothing provides libbluray0 needed by xbmc-10.1-7.3.x86_64
Solution 1: do not install xbmc-10.1-7.3.x86_64
Solution 2: break xbmc by ignoring some of its dependencies

Choose from above solutions by number or cancel [1/2/c] (c):

The repositories (and yes I´ve refreshed 100 times already):

Starbuck:/etc/X11 # zypper lr

7 | repo-12.1-update | openSUSE-12.1 Updates | Yes | No

For some reason it does not accept the libbluray1 package from Packman (the same repo XBMC is from)

Starbuck:/etc/X11 # zypper se libbluray

You should report this to Packman

But let me just see what happens on my system

Yep
Same problem.
Report it. It’ll get attended to

Thanks for confirming this. How do I actually report the problem to Packman?

I’ll do it for you

Thanks a bunch, really appreciate it.

Subscribed. I too am having the same issue. Hopefully Packman will get this resolved quickly.

Thank you very much for your work, Malcolm!

I tried installing xbmc again tonight and it seems the change has not been made yet. Hopefully it will be accepted soon.

Thank you again, sir!!!

Hi
Looks like the service to download the tarball isn’t working :frowning: I’ve
asked the powers that be on #packman to look at it.

Thanks again, Malcolm and caf4926! You guys rock!

Malcolm, he’s the Man
I just started the ball rolling

Dude, I’ve seen tons of your other posts around the forum, helping other users out. No one gets over 31 THOUSAND posts on a forum without being quite a bit awesome.

Hat’s off to you too, sir.

It’s not just 12.1, I have just tried to install XBMC in 11.4 and the same problem occurs

Hi
That’s because the build for 11.4 has failed;
http://pmbs.links2linux.org/package/show?package=xbmc&project=Multimedia

It needs some further investigation from the maintainer…
