Minor Problems w/ Gnome LiveCD B676 x86_64

Hello,

I just tried openSUSE-GNOME-LiveCD-Build0676-x86_64.iso on my VirtualBox 2 installation. 2 Problems so far, 1 of which is minor:

  1. Minor: When you check the media, the md5 sum returned is NOT that of the .iso. This is confusing. Perhaps a note about this should be output along with the media check.

  2. When I start up the Live CD, I get an error:
    The panel encountered a problem while loading “OAFIID:GNOME_ClockApplet”’ This has happened twice (100%) upon startup.

Problem 2 was my fault - low memory in the virtual machine. When I raised it from 384M to 512M the error message went away.

Try a method of downloading in which
a checksum is checked just along with the downloading.
E. g. Metasums:
I use firefox with add-on DownthemAll! which checks SHA 256
automatically (KGet may work as well).
