These are problems that I experience in my day to day operations.
-
Have two Dolphin windows open. I want to copy “one item” from one to the other.
IF I do not high-lite the “one” that I want to copy, and I just click and
hold on it, I have the possibility of high-lighting a number of others in the
source window also, when the item is dragged over them on its
way to the other Dolphin. IF I high-lite the one I want in particular, then the
drag and copy will proceed safely as expected. -
On the Taskbar, IF I have two, or more, copies of the same program going, and I
click on the displayed selection, or button in the taskbar, it will list the
items in a stack waiting for me to select one. It doesn’t go away if I move my
mouse away from it. I can move the mouse to the next item on the Taskbar and the
previous “stack” still shows. Thought they were supposed to come and go with
mouse movement. I have to click on an empty area of the desktop to get rid of it. -
Using Firefox, after an undetermined amount of time I can not save images or
Web Pages to my computer hard disk. In order to correct this I must get out
of Firefox and delete the ‘download.sqlite’ and ‘localstore.rdf’ files. Then once
again I will be able to store images and Web Pages. And sometimes that doesn’t
even work… unless you hold your tongue right. This appears to only be for the
SuSE Branded version. Have removed that and installed directly from Mozilla and
do not have the problem. -
Desktop actions are not as smooth and good as they used to be. I should be
able to move around on my desktop and have things :come and go". I have even
seen the “sidebar helper” of the icons hang around AFTER the mouse cursor has
left. Then at other times it is very difficult to get it to disappear. -
K3B will ask twice if I want to Over-Write a disk. Once is enough.
Has anyone else reported these and/or are they being looked into for fixing in
version 11.4?? -Or- do I need to make out a Bugzilla report, and if so are there
any suggestions as to where??
Thanks
