minimise all windows

Ok ok ok. I know it is a windows invention. But not everthing windows has to be bad does it (heracy I hear you say :))

Is it possible to set up Win-M keyboard combination to minimise all windows?

PC setup is a fresh install of opensuse 11.0 with KDE4.

I suspect I know the answer but I just have to ask the experts to be sure.

Thanks.

ALT-CTRL-D will minimize all windows, and pressing again will return all to
desktop.

The hotkey can be changed (or Win-M can be added) in KDE Control Center
(Personal Settings), Regional & Accessibility, Keyboard Shortcuts, Shortcut
Schemes tab, about 2/3 way down in ‘Panel’ section.

I think this is the setting for KDE3, not for KDE4.

Ctrl-Alt-D doens’t work in KDE4.

Any suggestions for KDE4?

Thanks.

Well drat!!

Have you looked in the Control Center Keyboard-Shortcuts? The KDE3 hotkey is
listed as ‘toggle showing desktop’. There’s likely a similar entry in the
KDE4 system, and you could bind your WIN-M to that. Have a look.
