Microsoft Sidewinder Game Pad Pro

I built an Intel Atom dual core based machine with 4G of ram to run my 40" 1080P TV. It’s my media computer and I only have OpenSuse 12.3 64-bit installed on it with KDE. My graphics card is an nVidia GT520 card with 1Gb of GDDR3 memory. Everything works excellent. I have installed Valve Entertainment’s Steam on it too. Since I have had a Steam account for a long time, I bought some games for Windows quite a while ago. I was surprised to see that I could install the native Linux ports of many games that I purchased when I was using Windows at no added expense. That is awesome! But I would like to figure out how to get my Microsoft Sidewinder Game Pad Pro working. It’s a USB interface gaming controller that worked fine for a bunch of Windows stuff. I have tried a few things and nothing has worked. Any suggestions?

Did you already try YaST ==>Joystick ?

Yes, I tried that and it still doesn’t work. :frowning:

I hope they could also make games for girls just like this one http://www.igamesforgirls.com/animal
