Messed up now recovering

what are the right permissions for /home folder?

Fixed it!!!
The problem was that I still had the root permissions to the home partition (wrong chown syntax)
Now I have logged in and everything works great! Great!

I need you help with the sources now and as you ahve asked I am using 11.4

delete all 11.3 repos (in your posted list above that would be repos 3,
4, and 8)

disable and stop refreshing on the nvidia repo (1)

that should leave enabled oss, non-oss, packman and update with only the
last two refreshing…then in in a terminal issue these commands, one at
a time and wait for each to complete

su - <don't overlook the "-" and give root's pass when asked
zypper clean -a
zypper ref
zypper dup

if any of those gives an error, copy paste it back to here (there should
be none, and i wouldn’t expect any)

if they run without error then do the following to move back to the
normal user:

exit

you should then be running only 11.4–pay attention to your repos (i’m
surprised your system worked at all! read the paragraph beginning with
“IMPORTANT!” here: http://tinyurl.com/33qc9vu

and, when you get ready to upgrade closely follow one of these two
paths, only: http://tinyurl.com/35p966c or http://tinyurl.com/6kvoflv

if you do that you will not accidentally have a mix of 11.4 and 12.1 !!!
