I am running 11.4_64, KDE4.7
I see in /var/log/messages a number of lines such as this:

I have looked at the file …/kdmrc and do not see multiple sections or the multiple occurrences which leads me to wonder if for some reason the file is being read multiple times or some other file appended at startup.
I assumed that this could have been caused by multiple update installations over time, so ran(as root ) ‘genkdmconf --no-old’ to get what appears to be a “clean” …/kdmrc.
kdm does seem to start-up OK, can anyone comment on these messages still showing up?
