Messages at Login: getHidDevices failed in opening HIDDEV file

Hello,

the a snippet of file /var/log/messages-20110409.bz2 content reads:

I have tried to find the significance of the messages relating to hiddev1 to hiddev15 (all on RED background). It looks rather scary (!), but I am inclined to believe that it is not that serious; I tend to believe that the RED background must be a tribute to the programmer’s sense for the dramatic.

Can anybody enlighten me?

Thanks,
