Take that back, had probs with GL apps, re-installed ATI on all machines and
back up and running again.

Must have been the mesa that did it or maybe the Xorg, my bet is on Mesa.

looks like im gonna have to reinstall ati also cause of the Xorg grr lol

Xorg is the most likely culprit I think

I am using the nv driver and Xorg will not start after the update. sax2 hangs.

Reinstall any drivers. However you did that originally.

I let the updates apply on two system and now X doesnโ€™t run. Usually, reinstalling the nvidia driver fixes display problems, but not this time. Running sax2 either fails or locks up trying to open its display.

Itโ€™s possible to roll back of course. You will need to try failsafe boot, if that fails then you will have to boot to level3 and use yast from there.
