mencoder - opensuse 11.4 - 64 bits

Guys,

I understand that mencoder is not available for opensuse 11.4 in the standard repos/packman repo?
Any other repo i can access for mencoder?

I need mencoder to take a bunch of jpegs and make them into a simple movie in a scriptable way.

I have tried ffmpeg ( using many examples from google ) but the video duration is just too short - 0.2 secs.

ffmpeg -f image2 -i %03d.jpeg -r 12 -s vga test.avi ( and many other combinations until i went nuts )

and so i am stuck

Hi
mencoder is part of MPlayer, just install that from packman.

It’s in the packman repo. Not sure why you don’t think it’s there…

As others said, it’s part of the mplayer package. Sorry, I should have
