Problem: while using the MediaPlayerConnectivity add-on (to Firefox) to
watch C-SPAN
-
volume can not be adjusted using any sliders in KMix
-
right click on ‘speaker icon’ in tray and click on ‘mute’ does nothing
-
volume can not be adjusted using any slider in “Volume Control: SiS
SI7012 (Alsa mixer)” launched by Menu > MultiMedia > Volume Control >
Volume Control (Adjust the volume level) -
volume can not be adjusted by using any slider in YaST > Hardware >
Sound > Other > Volume -
the only way to control the volume is with the hardware knob ON the
speaker itself…and, i have to turn it WAY down…far lower than when i
(for example) watch at youtube or listed to a CD…
Question: what am i doing wrong?
