My first update since the May 25 update.
Almost 3 full months.
Haven’t updated in a while since I’ve been busy daily driving my usual Arch-based setup and haven’t felt like continuing to test Tumbleweed. But, I feel like resuming my tests, and this update will be the first test to kick things off.
This is an 8.8 GB update for me.
Can Tumbleweed handle not being updated for a few months? Wish me luck! 
Others have gone up to 5 months between upgrades. I wouldn’t recommend it, but you should be OK.
As an Arch-based user, I wouldn’t recommend it either 
But good to know.
Downloads completed quickly, so everything’s getting updated now.
Still over 1000 packages to go.

Update cadence wise, I have machines on both ends of the spectrum - updated daily and only updated once every few months. 
The frequency of updates haven’t caused any issues by itself. 
Sometimes there would be bugs/quirks I have fixed on the dailies which I have noted down that helps with the monthlies. 
Yeah, using Arch-based distros has made it so that I check forums and official channels before updating, so I know what to look for in terms of bugs. This helps me to know if my weekly (or twice-a-weekly) update should be delayed.
