Maximized window gets under the panel in my external monitor

Hi,

I’m using openSUSE 11.3. I have a external monitor, and my setup is that when it is connected the panel is expended on the left. (Extended desktop)

When I maximize any window in my external monitor, the window gets under the panel, instead of getting maximized properly. Is this a bug?

I just tried to move the panel to my laptop’s desktop, and the size of a maximized window in that screen gets adjusted properly. So I guess it is a bug related to the extended desktop …

Oh, I’m using Gnome by the way.

Not the most useful reply I’m afraid, but after a quick google I found a similar Fedora bug report. Maybe you should search the openSUSE bug reports:

openSUSE:Submitting bug reports - openSUSE

Submit one if necessary.

Now I have experiment a little bit, and found it only happens when I have the panel on the right side, not left. In left case it works properly. I will submit a bug report.
