I have 6gb installed in a triple channel configuration, but opensuse 64bit only reports 3.75gb. Why might this be?
Probably because your motherboard doesn’t support that much memory.
My motherboard supports up to 24gb (x58), so 6gb shouldn’t be a problem.
Are you actually running 32-bit (non-PAE) Linux, even though you have a 64-bit mobo, then?
