MATE 1.8.0

MATE 1.8.0 is out. But at this link is only 1.6.0. Where can I install 1.8.0.? Can anyone put the link?

Hi,

I did a little search and found out that indeed, openSUSE has MATE 1.8.0 in its packages.

You can get it like this:
1.go to software.opensuse.org - search for mate-desktop. Click on the same.
2. At the bottom you would see “Show more packages for unsupported distributions”, click on it.
3. The fourth link is the 1.8.0 version, install through 1-click installation.
