@oboedad55 : what weather applet is that? I have the LCD one which came included with KDE/oS 12.1 but it doesn’t look as nice as that.

That is actually not a plasmoid, it is kwin effect called Beclock available in KDE extra repo. I have installed kwin-fx-beclock which is working for me, the other version kde4-effects-BeClock is not working in KDE 4.8(for me).
