Thank you for reading my post and, in advance, for thoughtfully answering my question.
I have a Windows 7 machine and an openSUSE laptop machine. I would like to map a wireless network drive from Windows to openSUSE. How should I go about doing that, please.
May I suggest that you can use Samba to “browse” the Samba drive share using Dolphin in KDE or Nautilus in gnome. I have a couple of blogs on setting up Samba you might want to read through.
Read through them both before you do anything. I don’t like a fixed share like making an attach as it slows down system startup and can really slow down if not done right when using a hard map. On the other hand doing a browse does not seem to have these problems.
