the installation of KDE PLasma 6 crashed my system. which in a way was strange.
anyway, so i had to install Suse and i am trying to install the Mailspring, as it is my favorite email client.
i followed usual procedure, gnome-keyring and libsecret should be installed.
but still does not work.
i prefer Flatpak.
i tried to install from Snap store same story.
i even followed some idea to install Evolution as it uses keyring and then install Mailspring.
any idea from You?
If you installed in with the GUI active it not that strange, for this “once in a ten year” KDE update it would have prudent to do the update in non-graphical mode.
“but it does not work” is not clear, from what you write it looks like mailspring is working but there is a problem storing the password. You write also something about Evolution but did not provide any details, like was it installed as flatpak or from the default repo, was it working fine or did it also have the problem with storing passwords?
