When I open evolution it keeps asking me for the password for default keyring to unlock, what is it trying to unlock? I have already entered password for server and told it to remember it so I would not have to enter a password each time!

The keyring is a service in the graphical interface that stores
passwords for various applications including network manager
WEP/WPA/etc. security information. Once you put in the keyring
password, though, it shouldn’t prompt you again until you’ve logged out
and back in. You can probably disable the keyring completely if you
want to, but I’m not entirely sure how to do that currently. Anyway
once you have your password in your keyring and you’ve unlocked your
keyring (per X session) you shouldn’t need to fight with it anymore.
Good luck.
