Is it possible in this day and age, to install M$ Teams in Linux/opensuse?
Not that I really want to, but just so I can keep in touch with a few Skype contacts from days gone by…
@hornetster That was dropped from linux in 2022… skype is going as well…
It’s entirely possible I’m incorrect, but I thought you can use a browser to access Teams
Yep, realise you can use a browser, was wondering if there was an app that could be installed.
Thanks.
I actually use two Teams clients in my daily workflow. For work, I use this one … it’s built with Electron and, as far as I know, lets you sign in with a personal account (though I haven’t tried that myself ):
Install Portal for Teams on Linux | Flathub.
Then, in any Chromium-based browser, just head to teams.live.com and create an app like someone here suggested.
Thanks for the reply.
The Flathub version will not work for a personal account apparently, only the Web version…
Just my 2 cents: I will not touch Teams again. Ever. If you want to have fun, try contacting MS support. To prepare, take a 2 week holiday.
