So I have never heard of the device, but searching around suggests that it does work, at least since kernel 2.6.27 but openSUSE has switched over to Pulseaudio and so its hard to know what else besides the kernel you need to do to make it work. If you have one, what does it hurt to load openSUSE 11.4 and let us know if it works and/or ask for help to get it to work?
Thank You,
I am not having a friend has one het wants to switch to linux.
Is it working with kernel 2.6.27 and alsa
in case it does not work with PulseAudio

Well that seems to be what I find that kernels 2.6.27 and higher work. Plulsaudio just adds another level of adjustment and may or may not be an issue. But since no one here has tried it with openSUSE 11.4, it is just hard to tell what other issues may also exist. We stand here ready to help should it be tried and additional info is presented that we can work with.
Thank You,
Thanks sofar.
I think we just give it a try or somebody else must know the answer.
Maybe we need the pulse audio alsa plugin.
