How do you install network manager in LXDE. I need to choose from a list of available wireless networks.

Use the yast package installer. Search for ‘NetworkManager’. It will install that and take care of any dependencies for you. You’ll have to choose a front-end as well. Maybe ‘NetworkManager-gnome’ is a good choice.
