LUKS: How to stop using it

Working on 11.2 and want to stop using it on my system / partition…

Is there a way to do it?

Not really sure it gives me the opprtunity to stop using LUKS without loosing my data on the / file system?

You should definitely copy out your data to an unencrypted file system before stop using it.

Ok sure, but it is a tremendous job, because I’m working on my root file system. I guess it’ll be better to reinstall from scratch.
I’m pretty surprised that there is no way round to unencrypt it in one shot.

If you are on the root file system, definitely, re-install is the easier option.
