Hi!
I was running KDE4.2.0 Release99 with Compix. It was working greate. I have Nvidia-gfx so it handle Compiz fine.
Now i upgrade KDE to 4.2.1 and i upgraded both Compiz and Compiz-emerald and now the titlebare is gone again.
No apps shows up with titlebar. Only meny shows and i cant move min/max windows.
How to fis this?

the easiest and fastest way is to use Gnome or KDE3

Well i change window-handling to KWin. Its not the same good looking as Compiz-emerald and doesnt have the same feeling as Compiz.
I guess Compiz is working bad with KDE4.x but can anyone confirm there is a problem with Compiz and KDE4.2.1?

my understanding (possibly faulty since i’m not a bells, whistles and
eye-candy kind’a guy) is that there is no need to run Compiz AND
KDE4, as the newer KDE completely includes all things necessary from
the several years old Compiz (look here at the almost two year old
video on compiz: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y4wB3GUemVw)
or the over two years old video on the also included in KDE4 Beryl
