Somehow I have lost this launcher from my panel, I can use the widget
application launcher but would like to resurrect my panel application
launcher.

The launcher is a wiget you have the choice of “application launcher” or
“application launcher menu”
To add one of them click on the plasma icon to the right of the clock

Thanks Geoff, I have already selected a widget, but I want the
application launcher to be on my bottom panel. I don’t know how to
restore the one I lost.
