Lost disk space and new mounting points

Hi,

I am not sure if this is the right forum but it does not really fit anywhere else. I have updated from opensuse 11.3 to 11.4 RC1. After the update, few new things appear when I use df -ah

Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
rootfs 11G 8.4G 1.2G 88% /
devtmpfs 996M 188K 996M 1% /dev
tmpfs 1002M 680K 1001M 1% /dev/shm
devpts 0 0 0 - /dev/pts
/dev/mapper/lv_tecra-root 11G 8.4G 1.2G 88% /
proc 0 0 0 - /proc
sysfs 0 0 0 - /sys
debugfs 0 0 0 - /sys/kernel/debug
/dev/sda2 342M 51M 274M 16% /boot
/dev/mapper/lv_tecra-home 20G 16G 2.7G 86% /home
fusectl 0 0 0 - /sys/fs/fuse/connections
/dev/sda1 40G 35G 4.7G 89% /windows/C
securityfs 0 0 0 - /sys/kernel/security
none 0 0 0 - /proc/sys/fs/binfmt_misc

1.- securityfs, debugfs, devtmpfs, devpts, tmpfs, sysfs, rootfs and none mounting points are new. Where are they coming from? Can I remove them? How?
2.- In both home and root there seems to be around 1.3 GB missing. I do not think that this was the case before but honestly I do not remember. I have deleted trash, temporary files, etc. Is this a calculation error or something else:

The partitioning is is:
/dev/sda 74.53 Gb
/dev/sda1 40 GB HPFS/NTFS NTFS
/dev/sda2 352.96 MB Linux native Ext4
/dev/sda3 34.18 Gb Linux LVM
/dev/lv_tecra 34.18 GB LVM2 lv_tecra
/dev/lv_tecra/home 20 GB LV Ext4
/dev/lv_tecra/root 10.18 GB LV Ext4
/dev/lv_tecra/swap 4 GB LV swap

Thanks in advance,

H

As 11.4 is still not released this belongs to Pre-Release/Beta. That is where you fellow testers are.

Second thing is that you are kindly requested to post computer output between CODE tags, not Quote tags: Posting in Code Tags - A Guide

Reposted in Pre-Release/Beta with your suggested changes.
