Lost boot for Suse

I reformatted a pen drive for my sat receiver. As with FAT it only allowed me to download upto 4GB which is ridiculous! I had mounted the pen drive then dismounted. I found out that by putting the pendrive into my sat receiver recorder with Ext3 mad the machine go crazy and I have had to sort that out before this! To say my wife was mad as hell is an understatement, but this was what I was told to do on AVForum. I wish I hadn’t have bothered. But now this leaves me in a predicament. I have no OpenSues booting. It goes through all the loading and then it asks me for the password with all the script showing and not the desktop. It says repair boot after this. Is there a simple way to resolve it?
I think it was looking for the pendrive. Well I had to reformat that back to FAT. I am not happy with this Foxsat HDR machine. But now I have to resolve the loss of OpenSuse

What version of openSUSE

It says repair boot after this
So this is happening at the point where you should get a desktop? Is that exactly what it says?

Its 64bit v11.3 OpenSuse. I am not versed in comp terminology, but as it loads up it shows you the loading of the OS and says Done or Failed, then instead of logging onto my desktop it still has all the script up and it asks me for my password. I type in my password and then it states in red REPAIR. I have a dual boot with Win7 on one disk and OpenSuse on the other. Something like 300gb for Suse and 500 on the other disk for Win7. I thought it might be simpler just to reload Suse as its not got too much on to make much difference. I have mucked it up a bit because of my ignorance of not knowing what I was doing

Could be worth booting a Parted Magic CD
Use the partitioner tool to check the Linux Partitions

Thanks I have just reloaded. I have to say the help here is wonderful. And thank you. You never know over the years I might progress to helping someone else!

That’s fine
