F1-F12 fully functional
it will be also useful to have

A multimedia kbd + AutoKey may do the trick also.

Do you mean this one?

Which of the buttons do not work?
Do the F1-F12 work?
I like the LogiTech G15, which has support for Linux through G15Tools at http://www.g15tools.com/
Multimedia buttons just work. Has 12 function keys and 6 extra macro keys. The macro keys do require you compile G15tools for them to function.
Has a LED screen which I usually run G15top or G15status on - very handy actually, I use it constantly.

Yep.

No, those work fine. The extra functions on those (blue ink) I haven’t tried
Play/stop video don’t. I guess it depends on what video player I use, but I
haven’t tried all.
What I do not like is the configuration of keys like pgup/dn, specially the
insert key. But there are not many keyboards with ps/2 plug.

Could you please also try the extra keys with the blue ink?
After that can you write me which ones do not work?
The X-keys programmable key stick is available in either usb or ps/2. X-keys Programmable Key Stick

I don’t know any of those that work. It may depend on the application.
funt-f8 is supposed to save, here does nothing. f5 f6 undo, redo, neither.
I don’t think any of those work in thunderbird. Maybe on another app. But I
never cared.
