Hi,
is there a tumbleweed repository for mono and especially Keepass 2 (not keepassx)?
Nevermind, i noticed that the new keepassx supports keepass 2.0 databases, thats all i need.
The mono archives don’t seem to have been updated for the new TW yet.
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/Mono:/Community/openSUSE_Factory/noarch/ has Keepass 2.27 (which is old).
As long as you have a new enough Mono installed from whatever repo, you can just download and run the Keepass executable in portable format as well. You can either run it from your home directory to keep it local, or you can put is a system folder somewhere. Of course, this means you’d have to keep it updated yourself. Not ideal, but there aren’t that many updates to Keepass2.
Or, as you said, the newer KeepassX supports 2.x databases now as well.
