This seems like a security feature, but is there any way to override it, i.e. stay connected after logout (in order to reduce delays during following logins).

This seems like a security feature, but is there any way to override it, i.e. stay connected after logout (in order to reduce delays during following logins).
If you configured the connection with KDE, then check the “system connection” option. A system connection stays connected until reboot. An individual user connection is only retained while that user is logged in.
Thanks! I went to Configure Desktop > Network and Connectivity > Network Settings > Network Connections > Wireless then I clicked the connection’s name and Edit and checked System Connectrion
