How do I turn off those annoying logon/off sounds in KDE4.whatever ships with OpenSuse 11.2? I’ve dug through all the config menus and I can’t find it anywhere.
It’s in the Desktop Configuration for KDE.
Configure Desktop>Notifications>Event Source**=**KDE System Notifications
lol, glad to see that I’m not alone in loathing those awful plink-plonk sounds :D.
I changed all my system sounds to ones that sound surprisingly similar to the ones from another recently released alternative “Operating System” ;).
Been there and shut everything off. The sounds still play.
