Try installing the application pulse audio volume control (pavucontrol) and also see if this blog entry on pavucontrol use helps: https://forums.opensuse.org/blogs/oldcpu/pulseaudio-basics-opensuse-pavucontrol-96/

well im over here trying a bunch of things without help and nothing is working… please reply with another concept…

You reported you do not have Linux ?

Linux is an abbreviated way of saying GNU/Linux of which there are many distributions of GNU/Linux, including but not restricted to openSUSE, SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop and Server, Red Hat, Fedora, Ubuntu, Debian, etc …

This forum is intended to help users of openSUSE GNU/Linux. ie this Forum is intended to help users with Linux of the openSUSE variant.

Please, could you provide more detail as to the version of GNU/Linux (if any) you are running ? ie openSUSE-12.3 GNU/Linux ? openSUSE-12.2 GNU/Linux ? And if you are running openSUSE GNU/Linux, please also advise the desktop that you selected upon installation, whether it be KDE, or Gnome, or some other desktop.

If you do not run openSUSE GNU/Linux, but rather if you are running BSD, Unix or an MS-Windows variant, then possibly this is not the correct forum to look for help ?

Best wishes and good luck … we really need the information I requested to ensure our help suggestions are not inappropriate.
