Logitech G15/G11 Support

Hey all,

This is just a suggestion for OpenSUSE in the future, maybe not 11.0 because it’s only a few days away, but maybe a patch to it, is support for the Logitech G15/G11 keyboards. I personally use the G11, and it’s a shame that I can’t use the special keys because there is no Linux-supported driver. The keyboard itself is supported, but the G-keys still have no support. It’s just a suggestion because the G15/G11 class of keyboards are well used keyboards, and the G-keys are a big part of the keyboard because of the quick commands.

Thanks for the consideration.

Check the Hardware WishList and add your request

Btw, you should check at this page : http://www.g15tools.com/

All G-keys and the LCD display are reported to work under Linux.

There are packages for the g15 tools available through the openSUSE repositories.

Software.openSUSE.org

doesn’t have ANYTHING to do with Logitech keyboards - at all

You do realise that you’re replying to a post from 2008, right?

That search probably resulted in hits for the Logitech device in question
with that version of openSUSE. As it’s out of support now, it’s not
surprising the results aren’t included.
